We're having a change! Welcome to Automed online bookings and requests!

This week we are very excited to be transitioning to a new patient engagement system: Automed Systems (AMS). We will no longer be using Appointuit. Automed has added vaccine management features, which will be very helpful in the months to come with the rollout of flu and covid vaccines very soon.

Keep an eye out for your welcome message!

All of our active patients who have a mobile phone number recorded in our database will receive a welcome message in the coming days.

Book appointments from our website or from the AMS Connect App

For your convenience you can make and manage your appointments directly from this website (BOOK NOW BUTTON), or by downloading the FREE mobile app, AMS Connect, from your app store.

To make and manage your appointments from the mobile app:

1. Download the app AMS Connect from your app store.

2. Open the app, search for Glebe Hill Family Practice, and tap Select.

3. Complete a once-off registration by entering your details and agreeing to the T & C’s – tap Register.

4. You will receive a once-off SMS code, enter it and tap Verify.

Once you are registered and will see the Home Page each time you open the app, from which you can view and manage existing appointments and make new appointments for you and your family.

We use SMS to communicate with our patients

As patients of Glebe Hill Family Practice, you may receive reminders from us from time to time for upcoming appointments, reviews, assessments, or reviewed test results. The messages will always be from our dedicated SMS number 0429 621 646. We do not use a shared messaging gateway.

Sending these notifications by SMS is convenient and saves the practice not only in physical resources like paper, but also allows our nurses to spend more time on face to face patient care rather than administrative tasks. 

You may, at any point, opt out of our messaging service by replying Stop, however this will stop ALL appointment reminders, recalls and results and the practice will revert to letters and/or phone calls instead.
