Diabetes Risk Assessment & Screening Clinic

Glebe Hill Family Practice is running a FREE Diabetes Risk Assessment and Screening Clinic.

We believe that "prevention is better than cure", and screening is important because early diagnosis of diabetes leads to better health outcomes.

Our Nurse Practitioner, Rob Clark, can assess your risk of developing Diabetes, and arrange any appropriate screening tests and management.

We encourage people of any age, but especially people aged over 30 years, to book in, for a Diabetes Risk Assessment and Screening appointment. The assessment will take 10-30 minutes. New patients are welcome!

People at increased risk of developing diabetes include:

  • People with a family history of diabetes
  • People who are overweight
  • People who are physically inactive or who have poor nutrition
  • People of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent
  • Smokers
