Dr Alice Frampton

BMedSc, MBBS (hons), FRACGP
Specialist General Practitioner

Alice grew up in Howrah, studied at Howrah Primary School, Clarence High School and Rosny College, and obtained her medical degree at UTAS in 2002. Alice and her family live in Howrah, and are passionate about Hobart’s eastern shore, with most of their extended family currently living in Clarence. The opportunity to start a new medical centre in the area is something Alice and her husband have been working on for several years, and are very excited to finally see it up and running. Outside of work, Alice loves being a mum, cooking, and keeping in touch with friends.

Alice has been working as a General Practitioner since 2005. Alice became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2007. Alice enjoys complex care and chronic disease management, ATSI health care, palliative care, women’s and men’s health, and family planning. Alice loves really getting to know people, and helping them at their happiest, and most difficult, times. Alice also enjoys doing minor surgery and procedures, and achieved Professional Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine in 2017. Alice enjoys teaching Medical Students and GP Registrars, and is passionate about doctor's self-care and sustainability in General Practice.
